malaysian food
yesterday we went to my mom's best friend's house. they've been real good friends since they started working that my mom's friend and her family has become my keluarga angkat ever since.

anyway, while having dinner, they were discussing about how expensive japanese sells mangoes and how now only the jap people began to realize what wonderful fruits we have down here! and then my dad went and told us about the japanese doctors in IJN who really became interested in malaysian foods.

it's funny to listen to the story, how they tried to crack open a durian, surprised at how salty cencaluk is and how good our murtabak and roti canai are!

my friend, aliah had a japanese friend when she was in africa and the girl was obsessed with the curry aliah's mom made. ahh..i love curry too! the spicier the better!

our foods are definitely more flavourful ne? and so not good for health

i wonder if any of j-celebrities come here, how fat they'd go eating our foods. but it's good isn't it, to be able to eat something else than what we usually eat. pizza!!!

but at the same time, if foreigners love our foods, we should feel proud about it, ne? =]
